WATCH: Kevin Hart: ‘I Saved Lady Gaga’s Life’

We’ve heard some pretty wild claims in our time but this one from Kevin Hart really takes the biscuit.

According to Kev, he managed to save Lady Gaga’s life after she picked up the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or TV Motion Picture for her role in ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’.

Yes, really.

The comedian claims that the 29-year-old singer tripped and fell as she was walking off stage and he caught her in his arms - joking that he just wanted her to check out his hot bod.

To be honest, we wouldn’t really mind the embarrassment of falling over if we ended up in Kevin Hart’s arms…

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Kevin shared: “What people don’t know after she got the award, she was walking off, she fell. I like had to catch her. And when I caught her I said, ‘I just want you to see how big my arms are. It could have been bad. It could have been really bad for you, but I saved your life.’

“I didn’t let her go down that far because I’m a hero. The thing is like she was on her way down. It could have been brutal, you know, we’re talking blood, broken bones.”

Of course.

The actor, who is engaged to the gorge Eniko Parrish, went on to joke that the incident had sparked a connection between himself and Lady Gaga, adding: “I had her and she was gasping for air … It was like a thing and I was like 'I’m engaged.’

“True story. That happened.”

Why would we doubt it, eh?
