Johnny Depp's Neighbour Supports Amber Heard's Domestic Abuse Allegations In Court

Last week Johnny Depp fans were rocked when his wife Amber Heard filed for divorce and a restraining order, alleging that the Hollywood actor physically abused her.

Images of Amber’s bruised face swept the internet and although Johnny has denied all of her claims, one of their neighbours has now come forward to support Amber’s allegations in court.

Raquel Rose Pennington has written a document of her experiences with the couple for the court, claiming that the 52-year-old actor “slapped her hands away” when she attempted to break up a vicious fight between the former couple.

She explained: “[I got a text message] asking me to come over to her condominium unit. When I opened the door, I saw Amber by the couch, covering her head with her arms and hands, as Johnny was loudly screaming at her.

"I ran over and stood in between Johnny and Amber, begging Johnny to stop yelling at her. I put my hands out in a defensive manner motioning him to stop. Johnny slapped my hands away and screamed foul obscenities at me.”

Raquel goes on to add that Johnny then picked up a large bottle of wine and “began swinging it like a baseball bat” in order to smash “everything he could”, with the neighbour detailing that she took Amber back to her home following the incident.

Amber previously said that she is living in fear of Johnny and was granted a temporary restraining order after she said that he threw his iPhone at her face, sharing: “During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me.

"I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him.

"I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorise me, physically and emotionally.”

Johnny’s lawyer has claimed that Amber is “alleging abuse to secure a premature financial resolution”.
