Is this the worst goalkeeping error of the year?

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Roy Carroll added to his long list of blunders with another howler for Notts County over the weekend.

The 38-year-old claimed the ball with his side’s game against Cambridge United 1-1 before he attempted to kick the ball upfield.

Problem is, he kicked is straight into the back of Ben Williamson and the ball looped over his head and eventually found the back of the net.

His side ended up going down 3-1 leaving them 14th on the English League Two ladder.
