Cops find '100kg of explosives ' in car
Three people have been charged after police allegedly found 100kg of explosives in a car in Northam.
Police stopped the Mitsubishi Magna on Fitzgerald Street at 1.20am on Tuesday.
It is alleged during a search of the car police found about 100kgs of explosives.
After inquiries by Wheatbelt detectives, three people were charged last night.
A 23-year-old East Perth man and a 25-year-old Carramar woman have both been charged with receiving, possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances, duty to minimise risk from dangerous goods and unlicensed possession of dangerous goods.
They due to appear in the Perth Magistrate's Court today, 6 May 2015.
A 26-year-old Secret Harbour man has been charged with stealing as a servant and possessing explosives in suspicious circumstances.
He will appear in the Kalgoorlie Magistrate's Court today.
