Delta, United slide; Big Lots upped; Cracker Barrel's special dividend

Airline stocks were on the move, including Delta (DAL) and United Airlines (UAL). Shares of United Continental are in recovery mode after its flights were briefly grounded this morning by the FAA. And Delta slumped after lowering its unit revenue forecast this quarter.

Big Lots

Big Lots (BIG) traded higher after an upgrade from Barclays. The firm raised the discount retailer to "overweight" from "equal weight" - while maintaining its price target at $53 a share. That's still about a 20% increase from the last closing price. Barclays believes Big Lots is making "meaningful progress" on its fundamentals and the stock's pull back makes the valuation "very reasonable."

Cracker Barrel

An earnings beat pushed Cracker Barrel (CBRL) higher. The restaurant chain said profit rose 23% in its third quarter. Revenue also beat expectations as sales and traffic grew. The company also continued to cut costs while increasing menu prices. Cracker Barrel declared a special dividend and raised its quarterly dividend
