New 'Hot Pursuit' Trailer: See Reese Witherspoon's Heartthrob Disguise
Reese Witherspoon is an Oscar winner, a dedicated philanthropist, and style icon. And now there’s one more accomplishment she can add to the list: Justin Bieber impersonator.
The exclusive new trailer (above) for Hot Pursuit, her upcoming gal-pal comedy with Sofía Vergara, offers the first glimpse of Witherspoon dressed as José Bieber (at the 2:05 mark) during an undercover mission.
As you can see, Witherspoon nailed Bieber’s famous, former hair-swoop move. (Yep, the pop star — and recent victim of a Comedy Central roast — is still living that 'do down.)
In Pursuit, Witherspoon plays Officer Cooper, an extremely petite, air-headed Texas cop assigned to protect Daniella Riva (Vergara) from corrupt police and the cartel associated with her late husband. Aside from the aforementioned Bieber impersonation, the pair find themselves posing as a deer (or a horse — they’re not quite sure), a romantic couple, and (at the 1:45 mark) something resembling a Mexican folk dancer. To add to the levels of ridiculousness, there’s also that roadside “baking powder” explosion that launches Witherspoon into hyper-mode.
