Teresa Giudice's mansion now marked down $1 million from original asking price

Can't Teresa Giudice catch a break?

The former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star has been trying for months now to sell her opulent custom mansion in Towaco. She listed it in September at $3,999,000, then in November knocked the price down by half a million.

Now, just as she's begun her 15-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to tax fraud, she's cutting another half-million from the price, bringing the home to $2,999,000.

It's got to be a tough sell for her real estate agent. As our friends at Curbed say, "Nothing about this place is subtle—not the six turrets, not the three bodies of water, not the bathtub with Grecian columns."

She's traded those digs for the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut -- the very same minimum-security prison depicted in "Orange Is the New Black."

Giudice's husband, Joe, is caring for their four daughters while she serves her time. When she's done, he'll begin his own sentence, which is about three times longer than hers.
