See It First! Teedra Moses and Anthony Hamilton Commit to Be ‘That One’

It’s been 11 years since Teedra Moses debuted with Complex Simplicity that quickly established her as one of R&B’s most refreshing new voices. Her appeal landed her songwriting gigs for Christina Milian, Mary J. Blige, and Macy Gray as well as standout collaborations with Raphael Saadiq, Raheem DeVaughn, Big Boi, and Rick Ross.

After releasing a sophomore album and a series of mixtapes, Moses returns with “The One,” a loving duet with Anthony Hamilton, and lead track from Moses’s Cognac & Conversation out on August 7.

Premiering exclusively on Yahoo Music, the “That One” video captures Moses and Hamilton singing about the early stages of courtship. Moses coos, “If you could love me through all my emotional moods / I’ll be the one that’ll hold you down.” Hamilton promises not to take her for granted as he picks her up in style, with a bouquet of roses on the hood of the convertible Mercedes.
