Anderson Cooper Takes Down Anti-Islam Advocate

Anderson Cooper interviewed Jon Ritzheimer, a 'Draw Mohammed' cartoon contest organizer, and challenged him on his anti-Islam advocacy. "You don't think bringing guns to a mosque while people, while families, are praying inside… You don’t think that's promoting violence at all?" Cooper asked. Ritzheimer explained the idea behind his antagonizing saying, "Well I'm trying to achieve exposing Islam."

Cooper then questioned how he, a former U.S. Marine who fought alongside the Iraqi government, could feel so strongly against Islam even though he once helped Islamic governments, by asking, "You served in support of an Islamic government in Iraq. So if you hate Islam, how do you justify having done that?" Ritzheimer responded by saying, "I was uneducated when I went over there. I was a junior Marine following orders. I was scared but I wasn’t uneducated about Islam."
