Stephen Colbert: Wedding Officiant

Stephen Colbert is all heart.

After learning that a couple's plans to marry at the Jefferson Memorial had been put on hold due to the government shutdown, Colbert took the matter of temporarily forbidden love into his own hands.

Colbert, who is an ordained minister (of course), invited the couple to his studio, where he presided over what he modestly called "The Wedding of the Century." Guests in attendance included Mandy Patinkin, Smokey the Bear, and Christopher the shot-taking ring bearer.

The festivities lasted but a few minutes, but the memories of Colbert serving as male stripper for the bridesmaids will last a lifetime. The guy really does it all.
