Victor Oladipo’s corkscrewing 360 slam highlights Indiana’s Big Ten quarterfinal win
No longer does Tennessee guard Jordan McRae own March's most memorable in-game 360 slam.
In fact, his isn't even the best of the last 24 hours.
One day after McRae made headlines with his dunk at the end of Tennessee's victory over Mississippi State, Indiana's Victor Oladipo topped that in impressive fashion late in Friday afternoon's 80-64 Big Ten quarterfinal victory over Illinois. When guard Jordan Hulls forced an Illinois turnover with under two minutes to go and the Hoosiers already leading by 16 points, he threw an outlet pass to a streaking Oladipo, who corkscrewed through the air for a full 360 dunk.

The YouTube-worthy slam capped a successful Big Ten tourney opener for the top-seeded Hoosiers. They broke the game open late in the first half, withstood a mild push from Illinois to cut the lead to single digits midway through the second half and pulled away late again to avenge a previous loss to the Illini in Champaign.
Cody Zeller had a second straight dominant game for Indiana, scoring 24 points on only 11 shots against an overmatched Illinois frontcourt. Christian Watford added 15 points and Oladipo had 12 points and 11 rebounds, helping propel the Hoosiers to a semifinal against either Michigan or Wisconsin.

Oladipo also spearheaded a brilliant defensive effort against Illinois' high-scoring guards. Brandon Paul, D.J. Richardson and Tracy Abrams made only 9 of 38 shots, hardly the formula for an Illini upset.
