Oct. 15: On Mario Puzo’s birthday, here’s the setting of the ‘Godfather’ horse-head scene
On Oct. 15, 1920, "Godfather" author Mario Puzo was born; this would have been his 93rd birthday. (He died in 1999.) In honor of the occasion, we thought we'd revisit the famous home where Francis Ford Coppola shot the famous horse-head scene in the movie adaptation.
The Beverly House in Beverly Hills, California, is believed to be the most expensive rental in the United States, (still!) available for $600,000 a month. Or you can buy it outright: It has merely the fifth-biggest price tag in the nation, $115 million.
