Katherine Webb poses for SI swimsuit issue wearing a split Auburn-Alabama half jersey

The belle of college football is staying in the spotlight, and Katherine Webb's appearance in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue is going to please all of the fans in the state of Alabama.

Oh, who are we kidding: You don't need to be from Alabama to be excited about her SI photos in a bikini.

SI.com released 30 photos of Webb as it continues its publicity push for the issue's release this week.

Webb is Miss Alabama and dating Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron. She's also an Auburn alum, which creates an interesting balance in a state that lives and dies with that rivalry. She hedged her bets for the swimsuit issue, wearing a split Alabama-Auburn jersey that covers up just enough for a mainstream magazine.

Oh, and there's much more.

There's Webb wearing McCarron's No. 10 jersey. There's her in shoulder pads and little else. There's her wearing a cheerleader outfit that we don't think we've ever seen on a sideline. There's her in a red houndstooth bikini.

So, there's a little bit of something for everyone. We're not sure how long Webb's stay in the spotlight is going to last – she burst onto the scene a little more than a month ago, though it seems like she's been famous much longer than that with all of her various appearances – but she's making the most of it. And Sports Illustrated was pretty smart to quickly sign her up for the swimsuit issue.

We assume that Brent Musburger will be waiting by his mailbox until the magazine arrives at his house this week.
