Justin Bieber has a rather dubious history when it comes to the sports world. In the last two months alone, the pop star has had a run-in with former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, attended a Los Angeles Kings playoff game looking like "a Johnny Depp character from a Tim Burton movie about the Crips" (Yahoo! Sports' colleague Greg Wyshynski's brilliant line) and looked rather detached during Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat. But it's hockey that you might guess is the heartthrob's favorite. After all, it's No. 1 sport in his native Canada, right? And he did pose with the Stanley Cup three years ago.

Well Chicago Blackhawks fans, what do you think of this?

That's a tweet from Peter Hassen, a Hawks marketing executive, sent out during Bieber's tour stop in the Windy City at the United Center Tuesday. Ouch. Access to the team's dressing room is one thing. The personalized sweater is another. But the Holy Grail? C'mon, Hawks - you're better than that!

Meanwhile in baseball, Minnesota Twins rookie Oswaldo Arcia took a pop foul off his face against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays beat the Twins 4-1.

And Matthew Stafford agreed to a 3-year, $53 million extension with the Detroit Lions that will have him under contract through the 2017 season.
