Three Boise State players reinstated after one-game suspension
Boise State will be nearly back to full strength for its next game Wednesday against No. 25 New Mexico. Coach Leon Rice has reinstated three of four suspended players for the game, including leading scorer Derrick Marks.
The Broncos played without the suspended players at Wyoming last week and still managed to hand the Cowboys their first defeat of the season.

Marks, Mikey Thompson and Darrious Hamilton will return against New Mexico after missing the Wyoming game because of an unspecified violation of team rules. Reserve center Kenny Buckner will still be suspended for an additional two games for his violation of team rules.
“It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make,” Rice told the Idaho Statesman about the suspensions. “We have a young team and we’re building a program, so one game is not as important as the future of our program. We don’t compromise on not doing it right.”
Boise State (13-2, 1-0) is off to its best start since the 1987-88 season and is in the middle of a logjam at the top of the Mountain West Conference with several other teams, including New Mexico (15-2, 2-0).
