Michael Jordan’s nephew fist pumps just like his uncle

Over the summer, Michael Jordan's nephew Justin emerged as one of the best under-the-radar recruits in the Class of 2013, and midway through his senior season, he's showing off plenty of moves that would make his uncle proud.

As the NBA Hall of Famer took in a recent DDS game, Justin Jordan displayed countless jumpers, an ankle-breaking crossover and the straight-faced fist pump celebration that MJ lifted to legendary status in the 1997 NBA finals.

The son of Michael's brother Larry, Justin Jordan has averaged 17.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals through his team's first 18 games. He scored a season-high 28 points against New Garden Friends School (Greensboro, N.C.) last month.

Like his uncle, who was famously cut from his North Carolina high school squad as a sophomore, the Davidson Day senior shooting guard's talent wasn't immediately apparent. Justin didn't earn playing time on the varsity until this season.

Michael attended Davidson Day's second game of the season, and while Justin's team lost to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, N.C.) High, the younger Jordan dropped double digits on Wake Forest commit Shelton Mitchell. Justin has reportedly begun to receive interest himself from the Division I level.

He wouldn't be the first of this Jordan generation to play at a DI program. His cousin Jeffrey played for both the University of Central Florida and University of Illinois, and Jeffrey's brother Marcus also played for UCF.
