Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus Give Their Marriage Another Shot!

There are two less achy breaky hearts in Los Angeles today.

Billy Ray Cyrus and his wife of nearly 20 years, Tish Cyrus, have decided to put the kibosh on their divorce plans and are sticking together.

Tish, 53, who filed for divorce from the "Ready, Set, Don't Go" singer in early June citing "irreconcilable differences," told E! News correspondent Ken Baker that she and her hubby have decided to give their marriage another try.

"I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realized they love each other and decided they want to stay together," Baker reported. "They recently went into couples therapy, something they hadn't done in 22 years of marriage, and it's brought them closer together and really opened up their communication in amazing ways."

This is the second time Miley Cyrus's parents have given their love another chance. Billy Ray, 51, filed for divorce three years ago, only to withdraw the petition in an attempt to work things out.

While this is the first official statement from the on-again, off-again couple, their recent Los Angeles outings suggested that they might be on the road to reconciliation.

In late June, the duo got cozy when they took their daughter, Noah, 13, out for pizza with a friend. Last week the couple spent the day strolling along the Malibu Beach Pier holding hands, smiling, and laughing. Most recently, Tish posted a snap on Instagram on Saturday where she can be seen tenderly cuddling up to the "Hillbilly Heart" author.

Now that Tish and Billy Ray have rekindled their romance, perhaps they can start focusing on the long-awaited nuptials of their daughter Miley to "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth?
