College golfer aces consecutive par-3s

You know what's cool? Making a hole-in-one during an actual, competitive event. The only thing that could be cooler than that is if somehow you made two in that same round.

Kassandra Komma didn't just pull off that feat, she did it on the same nine, making hole-in-ones on consecutive par-3s in a college event in Michigan.

Komma, a senior at Oakland University, knocked in her first ace on the par-3 third hole, playing a hefty 177 yards, and followed it up with a hole-in-one on the 7th hole, playing just 108 yards.

"The second (hole-in-one), I did not know what to do," Komma told the Detroit Free Press. "I started tearing up because there was no way I could get another one. I guess you can say I had a good round of golf … to say the least."

The double aces helped Komma post a round of 3-under 69, her lowest ever as a member of the Oakland team, and the 22-year-old is now winning a week already chalked full of ace stories.
