Holly Madison Reveals Her Secret to Fab Abs After Baby
Holly Madison is on a mission to regain her famous Playboy body ... and she seems to have a little help.
The 33-year-old gave birth to daughter Rainbow Aurora Rotella in March and has been hard at work shedding those pregnancy pounds ever since. She's already posed in her bikini for a magazine photo shoot ― and talked about how she was relying on good old-fashioned diet and exercise to help her reclaim her pre-baby bod. But she's also apparently using a compression belt!
The former "Girls Next Door" star, who dropped 30 pounds since giving birth and has said she has 10 to go, has been using The Belly Bandit. The contraption, which retails for between $50 and $80, is a relatively unsexy device that basically squeezes in your stomach. It's designed to be worn for the first few months after giving birth.
Madison ― who will marry her fiancé, Pasquale Rotella, in August ― was more than happy to pose for photographs with it in her adopted hometown of Las Vegas recently, which means 1) she likely got the device for free and/or 2) she is being paid to wear it. However, shameless promotion aside, she did pose in a hot pink string bikini just two months after giving birth. So the thing has to work … right?
Whether or not The Belly Bandit can actually shrink your tummy, it certainly has a lot of celebrity fans. The company's website lists Kourtney Kardashian, Julie Bowen, and Christina Applegate among its customers. (Meanwhile, Jessica Alba isn't a fan. She sued the company in 2011 for using her image to market and sell their products without her permission.)
Other celeb moms have talked about using similar devices. You may have caught Brooke Burke Charvet, who has four children, doing an infomercial for her Baby Baboosh product called Tauts, which is another post-pregnancy belly wrap.
And some other famous mothers have talked about another important item they used after giving birth: Spanx! Molly Sims, who recently had her first child, and Maya Rudolph, who is pregnant with her fourth, have both said they've worn three pairs of the undergarment layered on top of each other before hitting the red carpet.
Different strokes for different folks!
